Happy Thoughts

Flat screen TV, wii, virtual offices, e-business, robot-dogs, 3G mobile phones and iPods are glaring samples of items that buy you some time. By next month or another year these will become obsolete and old news.

Thankfully, simple facts and truths remain whether you have the latest tech gadgetry or the not there are things that are. When you think of it, a person enjoying the color of the sky as the sun begins to rise feels the same as another in a different part of the world. A moving story of triumph over adversity will always inspire people to plod on despite of rocky times. The sense of friendship, against all odds is solid even if it risking yourself. Happiness is never changing, even others attempt to adulterate it.

Happiness and good deeds are so easy to mouth off but living it and acting upon it is difficult altogether. Since I last checked, good meant doing a deed that made a 'happy' ripple effect. Like a chain, it must be inked by happiness, a break in chain because of hurt and a bothered spirit negates the action. Happiness is not equated with the suffering of others. Self satisfaction never begets happiness, it may be mistaken for it but it would never equal it.

For a better gauge of happiness just remember : “Anything good will not result into anything bad; and anything bad can never come out of good.”

Get your butt off the couch!!!

Procrastination is the result of suspended animation. As abstract as the thought is, the act of not acting upon anything doesn't get you anywhere. You stay rooted to the spot, now improvement nor regression…on the same spot with nary a centimeter of change. As a matter of pride, I'd want to sound profound and make it seem this conclusion was brought about my observations of other people folly. Sheepishly, I admit, it as my butt that needed moving.

I have a job that i love, daily I get to see things flourish little by little with the help of my efforts. This got me to think, why can't I grow while I nurture? To my knowledge, there isn't a law that outlawed self-improvement. Sure, age creeps up on us and our health may start to fail…Its the  capacity to learn that remains.

Today, I dusted my self up and set out to designing crafts once more with the purpose to make  things happen. It doesn't matter if I extend the hours I busy myself with creating, as long I am nearer to my goal. The thrill of designing a new product beats having to lie down and dream my dreams away.
